HUMANE SOCIETY OF INDIANAPOLIS NAMES NEW OFFICERS AND ELECTS NEW DIRECTORS

(May 19, 2004) Indianapolis  Outgoing president of the Humane Society of Indianapolis (HSI) Board of Directors Monty Korte led this year’s annual meeting, during which the following new officers were elected:

President - Brent Bolick, Senior Executive with Clear Channel Outdoor.
Bolick has been President-Elect during the past year, serving as Chair of the Leadership Development Committee.  Bolick previously held the role of Vice-President of the HSI Operations Committee.

Other officers elected at the Annual meeting include:
Vice-President, Development – Jane Root (Sigma Theta Tau International
Secretary – Eric Halvorson (WISH TV)
Treasurer – Bill Guthrie (National City Bank)
President-Elect –  remains unfilled until this year’s new Leadership Development Committee is established.

Additionally, Erik Tysklind, D.V.M., (Paw Patch Veterinary Clinics) will provide oversight at the board level for shelter operations.  John Miller (Miller Appraisal) will oversee facilities issues for the board.

The Humane Society of Indianapolis elected the following new directors:

Linda Brundage - Principle, Nogginworks
Bill Guthrie - Vice President, National City Bank
Devin Lollis - Director of Data Mining, Anthem Midwest
Kristen Mulholland - Director of Human Resources, Eli Lilly and Company
Jill Parris - Director of Human Resources, Community Hospital Network
Debra Peek - Teacher, Sycamore School
Phil Schaefer - Project Manager, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful
Lisa Stone - Partner, Ice Miller
Marie Truesdell - Assistant Professor/Chair, Business Department, Marian College
